Distinguish innate traits from talents
Read innate traits separately from the talent tree. Exclusive stratagems and combat techniques may require learning through the relevant talent. Seeing an ability’s name in a catalogue does not mean it is available at the beginning of a campaign.
What the public catalogue includes
The officer selection requires a base strength, intelligence or prestige of at least 90. Only selected equipment is shown. Items above level 5 appear by name alone. Acquisition methods, hidden conditions and unrevealed effects remain for you to discover in the game.
